RugbySmart is based around ACC SportSmart, the 10-point action plan for sports injury prevention. This informative presentation is an opportunity for coaches to experience the latest rugby specific information developed by the New Zealand Rugby Union.

The presentation covers such areas as:
•    Technical
•    Tactical
•    Conditioning
•    Player Profiling
•    Injury Prevention & Management

It’s a comprehensive and compulsory approach that is designed to contribute to a winning team effort.

All coaches and assistant coaches who are involved with teams from Secondary School rugby upwards are required to attend a RugbySmart presentation every season. New Zealand Rugby Union policy makes this course compulsory for all coaches and assistant coaches.

RugbySmart has evolved into a very valuable resource for rugby coaches of all levels. While its main objective continues to be injury prevention, the interactive DVD provides practical coaching tips and strategies.
