Primary Schools Tournament

The Primary Schools Rugby Tournament is an annual 10-a-side Rugby Tournament for all Primary Schools in the North Harbour Rugby Region. This year will be the 8th year in operation and in that time it has grown to be the largest Primary School Tournament of its kind in the country.

 

Dates and Venues for all Modules

All module field days are scheduled for a Thursday in the week of play. All teams are to be assembled by 9.40am for a 10.00am start with games finished and departure at 1.30pm.

 

Kumeu Module

Location: Kumeu RFC, Riverhead War Memorial Domain, Riverhead.

Dates: May 20^th (Save Day May 25^th), July 22^nd (Save Day July 28^th), September 2^nd (Save Day September 7^th).  

Schools:Coatesville, Helensville, Huapai District, Kaukapakapa, Parakai, Ridge View, Riverhead, Taupaki, Waimauku, Waioneke, Waitoki, Whenuapai, Woodhill.

 

 

Glenfield Module

Location: Glenfield RFC, Kaipataki Park, Glenfield.

Dates: April 29^th (Save Day May 4^th), June 10^th (Save Day 16^th), August 12^th (Save Day August 17^th)

Schools:Bayview, Beachhaven, Birkdale, Birkdale North, Birkenhead, Chelsea, Glenfield, Kauri Park, Manuka, Marlborough, Target Rd, Verran Rd, Westminster, Windy Ridge.

 

 

Massey Module

Location: Massey RFC, Moire Park, Massey.

Dates:May 13^th (Save Day May 19^th), July 1^st (Save Day July 20^th), August 26^th (Save Day August 31^st)

Schools: Colwill, Don Buck, Greenhithe, Hobsonville, Lincoln Heights, Marina View, Massey, Royal Road, St. Paul’s, Waitakere, West Harbour.

 

Silverdale Module

Location: Silverdale RFC, Main Road, Silverdale.

Days: June 17^th (Save Day June 22^nd), August 5^th (Save Day August 10^th), September 16^th (September 21^st).

Schools: Ahuroa, Dairy Flat, Gulf Harbour, Kaipara Flats, Kingsway, Leigh, Matakana, Orewa, Orewa North, Pakiri, Red Beach, Silverdale, Stanmore Bay, Stella Maris, Tauhoa, Wainui, Warkworth, Whangaparaoa

 

 

Takapuna Module

Location: Hato Petera School, College Road, Takapuna.

Dates:June 1st (Save Day June 14^th), July 29^th (Save Day August 4^th), September 9^th (Save Day September 14^th).

Schools: Bayswater, Belmont, Devonport, Forrest Hill, Hauraki, Milford, Northcote, Onepoto, St. Joseph’s, St. Leo’s, St. Mary’s, Stanley Bay, Sunnybrae, Takapuna, Vauxhall, Willow Park

 

East Coast Bays Module

Location: ECB Rugby League Club, Freyberg Park, Browns Bay.

Dates: May 6^th (Save Day May 12^th), June 24^th (Save Day June 29^th), August 19^th (Save Day August 24^th)

Schools: Albany, Browns Bay, Campbells Bay, Glamorgan, Kristin, Long Bay, Mairangi Bay, Murrays Bay, Oteha Valley, Pinehill, Pinehurst, Sherwood, Sunnynook, St Johns, Torbay Upper Harbour

 

 

 

 

Semi Finals/Finals

The top 2 teams in both Rippa Rugby and Junior Black for each module will qualify  for the semi finals day which is usually held at North Harbour Marist in September. Teams will be selected from the points tables that will record points from each with both performance and sportmanship contributing to the final standings. The two top teams from Rippa and Tackle will then proceed into the final which will be played at North Harbour Stadium as a curtainraiser  to an Air New Zealand Cup game.
