A highlight is the continuing commitment to our local amateur representative coaches that sit inside our high perfromance environment. This commitment see’s former North Harbour ITM cup and London Wasps player Joe Ward taking on the 2nd XV. Joe is currently head coach of the Marist Premiers and has experience as an assistant in Japan’s Top League. Continuing in 2015 is former North Harbour ITM Cup assistant coach and North Harbour representative Milan Yelavich along with Greg Aldous in the U19 programme. Geoff Alley returns to head the North Harbour Seven’s campaign for 2015/16.
“We’re really excited by this group of Coaches” said Alex O’Dowd. “There is a commitment to the North Harbour Union in all our selctions, so we’re building a strong coaching network for the representative teams now and into the future. We’re also continuing to improve our processes to assist the coaches in their campaigns - better communication, expectations and support.”
The successful candidates come from throughout the North Harbour Union and all are excited to play a significant part in the union’s success moving forward.
