Exciting times for the 24 Harbour Roller Mills boys as they enter their tournament week.
The squad has been together for the last 6 weeks and have trained the house down. Tony Bruce, head coach comments "We have been really impressed by this group. The boys are dedicated and determined. They have come together well and in the short space of time we have had them together we can see the improvements"
This year, the week long Roller Mills tournament - which is the 2nd oldest provincial rugby tournament behind the Ranfurly Shield - is being hosted in Whangarei.
" She's going to be a challenge. Every game will be tough - but I guess we have an eye on the Auckland East game as our steepest mountain given their success in recent years and the players they have been able to draw in.That said we will be up for it."
