U14 Representative Skills Day/Trials

North Harbour U14 Representative Skills Days/ Trials:

Nominations are now open for 2015 NH U14 Rep Rugby Teams. This year, the union will have two U14 teams competing in the Blues U14 competition. Details for the skills days and trials are below. It is important to note that players must be nominated by schools or clubs and must be received by the NHRU before the closing date. Additionally, players who are U13 years of age but over the 57kg limit for Roller Mills are invited to attend the skills days/trials for U14 Rep Teams.

Nominations close Friday 26^th June.

ELIGIBILITY

For players to be eligible for selection, they must meet the following criteria:

Players MUST be under 14 years of age as of 1^st January 2015. Born in 2001 or 2002.
Players MUST be a registered rugby player at a Secondary School/Club in the NH Rugby Union.
Players MUST be available for all representative games and trainings throughout the campaign.
All players MUST be under 80kg at the time of selection. No considerations will be made for this rule.

TRIALS and SKILLS DAYS

Because of the congested playing season and overlapping competition windows, there will be no trials this year. There will however be a couple of skills day which along with the viewing of players during the school season will assist in the selection of our representative teams.

The first skills day for the U14’s is on Sunday 12^th July at QBE Stadium Domain 4 (Artificial).

Sunday 12 July Skills Day #1 – QBE Stadium Domain 4 Artificial (9am-2pm)

Wednesday 15 July Skills Day #2 – QBE Stadium Domain 4 Artificial (9am-2pm)

Sunday 26 July Skills Day #3 – QBE Stadium Domain 4 Artificial (11am-2pm)
